1984 - Kevin Locke establishes his carpentry contracting business working for CHARTER HOMES on a housing site in Harvington, Nr Evesham.
1985 - Contracting to Pearce Consruction including finished to Droitwich Sports Centre part of the renovation team at Wych Hill House.
1986 - Carpentry Contracts at Henwick Road, Worcester, and Farleigh Road, Pershore.
1987 - 1988 Carries out Carpentry Contracts for PROWTING HOMES, working on luxury houses in Charlton Kings, Cheltenham and St Peters Park in Worcester.
1989 - Continuation of contracts with Prowting including development at Southam, Warwickshire, takes on contracts with BARRATT HOMES on housing sites in Shipston-on-Stour, and luxury homes in Coventry.
1989 - L.W & K.L. Locke formed KELLAN DEVELOPMENTS, carrying out the construction of extensions and general building work.
1991 - Main contractors on an extension to Bidford-on-Avon British Legion Club. Work at Southam continues for PROWTING HOMES. Carpentry works to infill site at Kenilworth for Barratt Homes.
1992 - KELLAN DEVELOPMENTS carries out 4 more domestic Extensions around the Evesham Area. Carpentry Contracts for Barratt Homes on luxury development in Burford.
1993 - KELLAN DEVELOPMENTS builds 1st house for Mr L. and Miss C Barratt Site at Burford awarded NHBC Regional Winner Award. PROWTING HOMES contracts were worked on in Cirencester, and St Peters Park, Worcester. Work commences for ROLAND JONES HOMES on a site in Badsey, Nr Evesham.
1994 - Carries out extension to Bidford-on-Avon Bowls Club. Carpentry Contracts at Bicester for PROWTINGS, and the BARRATT site at Burford was awarded the NHBC Regional Winner trophy for the second year running.
In 1995 -1996 KELLAN DEVELOPMENTS ceased trading. Kevin Locke became an Employee of PROWTING HOMES as an Assistant Site Manager, building houses at Bromyard and then back at Southam.
Kevin Locke became a Site Manager in 1996, working for PROWTINGS till he left in 1999. During that time he managed a site in Redhill Lane, Worcester, comprising 10 x 4-5 bedroom houses, Southam site building mainly 4-5 bedroom houses, and at Faringdon, Oxon, a complicated site of 32 luxury homes on a 1 in 10 gradient. Faringdon is awarded most profitable group site in 1998, in part due to large number of customer variations.
1999 - 2000 Kevin Locke moved to CALA HOMES, where he completed a site at Banbury of 4 - 5 bedroom houses, which was voted the 'Best Cala Site by the Groups customers. Other work included managing a conversion' of a pub in Wellesbourne, into 3 houses. He also acted as a Project Manager on a conversion of offices to apartments in Birmingham City Centre.
2001 Kevin Locke moved to BARTEAK DEVELOPMENTS working as a Site Manager on 5 x New build apartments in Edgebaston, a site in Sutton Coldfield that included a range from 1 bedroom apartments to luxury 6 bedroom Houses. Managed works on 34 apartments in Rubery and 14 apartments in Warstock, Birmingham before he left in July 2003.

December 2005 became a registered member of the National Federation of Builders.
